The couple:
We wanted to create this theme for a fun loving; in touch with nature couple. The outdoor setting is natural yet whimsical and romantic. Perfect for a warm summer evening.

The venue:
A true country experience !

Toadbury Hall has established itself as one of Gauteng’s finest country hotels of choice for life’s celebrations and special occasions, with continued focus on exclusivity. Just a twenty-minute drive from both Johannesburg and Pretoria and within a 5-minute drive to Lanseria International Airport, Toadbury Hall prides itself on and boasts a worthy reputation for hosting memorable weddings, conferences, picnics and functions.

Hair:
I created soft natural waves with volume at the root, twisted into a low textured updo style. The ultimate wedding look this season.

Flowers:
Penny gum (eucalyptus) leaf runner leans itself to our outdoor theme and also not too many flowers needed on the table as this is the focal point
Single blue hydrangeas dotted throughout the table in the rose gold geometric crowns adds just enough colour. The white phalaenopsis orchids adds beautiful height to the table with the crystal candelabra. It is so important to have flowers and décor elements in a low and high style.
Bridal bouquet a simple yet striking posy of blue hydrangeas tied with white satin ribbon.

Cake:
Four Tier Wedding cake incorporating numerous wedding cake trends. Soft marbling with touches of edible silver leaf and delicate sugar flowers.

Make up:
I wanted the makeup that I designed to complement this exquisite setting. I created a flawless and dewy skin, highlighting our brides’ beautiful cheekbones. Romantic and whimsical with a hint of drama on the eyes. A timeless makeup look.

Dress: 1 Fynbos (ball gown)
Our beautiful Rose is soft and elegant with a hint of sparkle, this A Line/Ball Wedding Gown is perfect for a low key to even an extravagant setting.

Dress: 2 Johan (with small pink flowers and sheer back)
Fitted dress with sheer back and embroided detail on the back and front of the dress. The train in layers of tulle.

Stationery:
Menu in circular shape on textured board to fit inside each guests’ charger plate in shades & tones of rose gold. Rounded of the glass charger plate on top and the tied napkin.

Décor:
Lots of candles for a dreaming atmosphere on the elegant swirl table linen is created in this outdoor wedding set up. The rose gold details accentuate the penny gum table runner that plays along beautifully with the setting amongst the trees. Crystal candelabra adds height to the table for that wow factor as the sun sets with the candles lit. Ribbon with crystal heart details on the mahogany tiffany chairs adds a little bit of sparkle as it catches the candlelight.

Lighting:
As the sun set, the fairy light canopy came to live. This lighting plays an integral part in creating a fairy tale look amongst the trees. It is imported to remember that when creating an outdoor look for a wedding to have lighting above, along and on the tables. This can be created with fairy lights and candles. The fairy light back drop makes for unforgettable images that will last a lifetime.
