Bosjes in the Breede Valley lies the perfect hideaway, Bosjes. A chapel inspired by Psalm 36:7 ‘How precious, O God, is Your constant love! We find protection under the shadow of Your wings.’
Rich in history and natural splendour, with steep mountain ranges on both sides, and the Breede River that winds through the valley, it is an off the beaten track place of rest and quiet. Visitors to Bosjes will find the journey worthwhile, if only to see the Chapel, an architectural masterpiece, and to enjoy the landscaped Chapel gardens.
Bosjes dates back to 1790 and with the old manor house and strikingly modern chapel it is the perfect marriage of new and old. Guests can walk around the gardens surrounding the Chapel, enjoying pre-drinks while the bridal party takes photos.
Maximum guests catered for are 120 and catering is provided in-house under the careful care of head Chef Kim Cox.
A working farm that produces grapes for wine as well as proteas and olives, the wedding package includes two nights’ accommodation in the old barn that has been stylishly renovated into luxury suites.
With the delft inspired mural that forms a perfect back drop for the dancefloor on the outside deck, you really do get something old, something new and something blue on this Estate.
